Miller Tabak Roberts Securities Adds Analysts

New York, NY – October 6, 2008. Miller Tabak Roberts Securities, LLC is pleased to announce an expansion of the Firm's New York-based fixed income and equity research department with three recent senior analyst hires.
 
In a joint statement, the firm's Chief Executive Officer Robert Schoenthal and Chief Operating Officer Joel E. Miller said that "timely unbiased research has never been more valuable than in today's exceptionally challenging capital markets, and these new hires represent MTR's continued commitment in the face of those challenges." 
 
Matthew J. Dundon, Managing Director and Head of Research, observed that "our institutional investors are already benefiting from our new analysts' insights and experience, along with that of our veteran sector and asset-class analysts."
 
Emerging markets analyst Revisson Bonfim joined the Firm as a First Vice President from Fitch Ratings, where he was a lead analyst rating Latin American corporate credits. Prior to Fitch, Mr. Bonfim was at Wachovia Securities, and began his career at GE Capital. 
 
Sarah Rowin CFA joined MTR as a First Vice President from CreditSights, a leading independent research provider. She has initiated coverage for the Firm in the home builder and building suppliers sector, and will be also be a member of the Firm's cross-industry distressed debt research team. 
 
Richard Torre came to MTR from the fixed income research department of Bear, Stearns & Co., where he was a member of the gaming, lodging and leisure team. He joins the Firm as a Vice President. He will be adding selective coverage of travel and transportation to his core coverage universe of casinos and hotels.
